Description: M-109 is a multimetal solvent-based organic vapor and contact corrosion inhibitor for use in solvent and some waterborne coatings. The use level recommended is 1 to 3% by weight.

Description: M-110 is an organic corrosion inhibitor that can be used in solvent-based and some waterborne coatings. It is recommended to use between 1% and 3% (by weight) to improve corrosion resistance.

Description: M-119 is a water based corrosion inhibitor for use in water based epoxies, urethanes, acrylics and alkyds. M-119 provides protection for carbon steel and aluminum, eliminates incan corrosion and reduces scribe creep. M-119 does not contain any heavy metals such as zinc phosphate, chromates or barium. M-119 works in both the vapor and contact phases.

M-138
Description: Cortec M-138 is a VpCI corrosion inhibitor additive for rubber and sealants. It can be used to protect metal parts in contact with or in close proximity to rubber rollers, gaskets, or manufactured parts. M-138 replaces the use of environmentally unfriendly coatings or expensive alloys in addressing the tendency of elastomers to corrode metal parts.
Application: In most cases, a trial run of a particular rubber compound incorporating M-138 is suggested. The powder should be added to the elastomeric material at the compounding stage along with the other additives. The addition of M-138 to the rubber formulation will not typically change the physical properties of the molded rubber.

M-141
Description: M-141 is an additive that can be used in aqueous acrylic emulsions and polyurethane dispersions to improve corrosion resistance and durability. Using M-141 will increase water resistance, coating hardness, substrate adhesion, and chemical resistance.M-141 functions as a cross-linker to increase the cohesive strength of a coating by building a network between the polymer chains increasing abrasion resistance and film hardness. The additive reacts with the protective film to provide better adhesion and permeability properties; which in turn helps increase the corrosion resistance of a coating.

M-150
Description: M-150 is a multimetal Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor -additive to the ink-like materials used in paper industry. Addition of M-150 to the ink alowed to prevent corrosion problems, associated with the agressive actions of some inks towards the metals.

M-241
Description: M-241 is a powdered corrosion inhibitor for use in waterborne epoxies, urethanes, PUDs, acrylics and alkyds. M-241 provides protection for carbon steel and aluminum, and reduces scribe creep as well as preventing in-can corrosion. M-241 does not contain any heavy metals such as zinc phosphate, chromates or barium. M-241 contains FDA approved ingredients(21 CFR Part 172). M-241 works in the contact phase.
Application: Recommended loading levels range from 0.5 – 1.5% based on total formula weight.

Description: M-320 is an additive for rust preventive, lubricating or hydraulic oils. M-320 provides excellent contact corrosion protection. Description: M-380 is a water-based corrosion inhibitor that is designed to be used with carboxylated acrylic or styrene-acrylic latices. M-380 provides corrosion inhibition to ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces. M-380 should be mixed before use although no settling is anticipated. The recommended starting levels for M-380 should be 1% to 3% based on the total weight of the formulation.

Description: M-528/528L are the additives for hydraulic fluids used in subsea production control systems. They provide corrosion protection for steel, copper, brass, aluminum, bronze, galvanized steel, and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys. M-528/528L prevent corrosion in both phases: contact and vapor.

Description: M-645 is a newly developed corrosion inhibitor additive for corrosion induced by seawater or brine. M-645 is a highly surface active concentrate, which will displace water containing chlorides from the metal surface, is then adsorbed forming an oily protective film on the metal. This film is the most uniform when it is applied in conjunction with an oxygen scavenger.

VpCI® Coolant Antifreeze
Description: VpCI® Coolant Antifreeze is a corrosion inhibiting heat transfer fluid feauturing the wide range of use temperatures. This fluid is specifically formulated with inhibitor to offer thermostability and corrosion protection. The range of working teperature is from - 60F (-50 C) to 280 F (140C), depending on the ratio diution with water.
Application: • Protects ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosion and pitting • Nitrite, chromate, and heavy metal silicate free • Contains contact and vapor phase corrosion inhibitors • Economical • Environmentally acceptable

Thermally demanding application and where long fluid life and extended mantenance intervals are desired. Also, suitable for single fluid process heating and cooling. VpCI Coolant Antifreeze can be diluted with deionized or distilled water according to the required working temperature range.

VpCI®-658
Description:
The corrosion of metals under thermal insulation is an industry wide problem, specifically during idle cooling down periods. The presence of condensed water, airborne contaminants and corrosive agents that are generated through thermal decomposition and aging of insulating materials further increases the rate of attack on underlying metal surfaces.

Due to failure of outer water barrier wraps or jackets, the moisture content of the insulation can often reach the point of saturation. This, combined with elevated temperatures, can cause corrosion rates to multiply to extremely high levels. VpCI-658 has been specifically designed to counter this problem with existing insulation, avoiding the additional expense of replacing the insulation and refinishing the underlying metal.

VpCI®-705 Fuel Additive
Description: Corrosion preventive additive for gasoline, diesel, gasohol mixtures and alcohol fuels that also works as a fuel stabilizer and water emulsifier. Soluble in methanol blends as well as neat methanol fuel or neat gasoline.
