Anti-Skid Liner Board
Description: Cortec® Anti-Skid Liner Board is designed to prevent slippage of cases, cartons, and bags up to a twenty degree slide angle depending on application and type of product being stacked. Cortec Anti-Skid Liner Board is non-adhesive and much more durable than alumina or silica treated anti-skid Liner Boards. This durability allows Cortec Anti-Skid Liner Board to be reusable while providing high tear resistance and burst strength. Cortec Anti-skid Liner Board is non toxic, 100% recyclable, biodegradable, and does not create dust.
Cortec Anti-Skid Liner Board has many packaging applications due to the high coefficient of friction for “Liner Board on Liner Board” and “Liner Board on metal”. This allows the Liner Board to be very beneficial when transporting items on pallets to prevent damage caused by items falling off.

Bio-Pad®, Patent Pending
Description:
BioPad® is a unique flexible corrosion inhibiting device constructed from 100% biobased non-woven material, resulting in a finished good containing 66% biobased content. BioPad® provides an eco-friendly sustainable packaging option for corrosion inhibition and has been awarded USDA BioPreferredSM designation (www.biopreferred.gov). BioPad® provides up to two times as much corrosion inhibiting action as related foam products. Not only is BioPad® biobased, but its high VpCI® concentration in combination with its thin design, results in material reduction by up to 94% in comparison to similar polyurethane foam emitting devices.

BioPad® is easy to use. Simply placing the correct size BioPad® into your package will allow metal items to be protected. Parts protected with BioPad® are always ready for use; no degreasing or coating removal is required, just remove item from package and put to use.

BioEmitter
Description: BioEmitter is an environmentally and user safe corrosion preventative made with a high bio-based content. It is an easy way to protect valuable multi-metal components or parts in an enclosed space up to 50 cubic feet (1.4m3). Cor-Pak® Fabric LD
Description: Cor-Pak Fabric LD is a strong wet laid nonwoven fabric composed of a combination of synthetic and cellulosic fibers. Combined with Cortec’s Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI TM) technology. This product can be used in a wide array of applications.
In addition to providing excellent corrosion protection, this product provides mechanical protection against scratching, abrasion, and staining that can occur in normal packaging applications.

Description: Cor-Pak VpCI Anti-stat Stretch Film meets the anti-static requirements under MIL-B-81705C in a high performance stretch film with multi-metal corrosion protection and ESD protection!The poor electrical conductivity of plastic film requires special attention in packaging applications where static discharges are unacceptable. Description:

Cor-Pak® VpCI™ Skin Film is the ultimate in skin film for retail showroom display of metal products. Cor- Pak® VpCI™ Skin Film utilizes the latest surlyn based resin in combination with Cortec’s patented VpCI™ technology providing a two year corrosion free life with a crystal clear appearance. These two technologies allow Cor-Pak® VpCI™ Skin Film to have the clarity and corrosion inhibition necessary for even the most extreme packaging conditions.

Once packaged, Cor-Pak® VpCI™ Skin Film releases Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCIs™) that create a monomolecular layer of protection on the surface of the metal. Additionally, the superior strength of Cor- Pak® VpCI™ Skin Film provides barrier and mechanical protection while remaining suitable for retail or end-user display.

Metal parts protected with Cor-Pak® VpCI™ Skin Film are easily inspected during shipment and storage. Cleaning, rust removal and other additional steps are not required once the part is removed from the packaging, even if the parts need to be welded, soldered or painted. Cor-Pak® VpCI™ Skin Film leaves the exposed metal surfaces clean and contaminant free.

Cor-Pak® VpCI™ Skin Film can be applied with standard skin packaging equipment and typically provides corrosion protection for up to two years.


Application: Use Cor-Pak® VpCITM Skin Film for skin packaging (visual carded packaging). The part being packaged becomes the mold over which the heated plastic film or “skin” is drawn by vacuum and heat-sealed to a paperboard card, providing excellent visibility. Skin film is typically used for industrial packaging and for point of purchase packaging and other items to be displayed. CorrLam® LD
Description: This unique structure consists of a clear polyester extrusion coating, laminated to a 0.285 mil aluminum foil, of which is laminated to a 4-mil Cortec® VpCI®-126 film. Total caliper is 7.3 mils (182.5 microns). This multilayered high performance laminated structure was developed to meet the toughest industrial requirements, provides an excellent barrier to water vapor, gas, ultraviolet light and odor. The barrier layer (foil) prevents the VpCI® molecular vapor from escaping from the package thereby trapping the protective chemistry within.

Corrosorber® Paper powered by Nano-VpCI®
Description: VpCI Corrosorber paper is a tarnish inhibiting packaging paper specifically for precious metals such as silver, gold and tin. VpCI Corrosorber paper is a unique product, in that one side of the paper has a special coating that scavenges or seeks out H2S gas. When a significant amount of H2S gas has been absorbed by the paper, the paper will change color from light blue to brown. On the other side of VpCI Corrosorber paper, is a tarnish inhibitor that will protect precious metals for up to two years or until the opposite side of the paper has significantly changed color from light blue to brown. VpCI Corrosorber paper will eliminate the need for coatings and tarnish removers that are often associated with precious metals. Rest assured, knowing that your valuable precious metals will have the same exact appearance as prior to using VpCI Corrosorber paper. VpCI Corrosorber paper will in no way hinder further processing of your precious metals. VpCI Corrosorber paper is simple to use, simply wrap your precious metals and fold edges together so there is no free airflow. The VpCI coating on the paper vaporizes, reaching all metal surfaces to provide complete tarnish inhibition. With many tarnish inhibitors, there is a need to remove after use, but with VpCI Corrosorber paper, there is no removal needed of the inhibitor. VpCI Corrosorber paper will in no way affect further processing of the precious metal or affect physical properties such as conductivity or surface resistivity.
Application: VpCI® Corrosorber paper can be used to protect products for storage and shipment in a wide variety of ways. Use VpCI Corrosorber paper for single item packaging or for multiple item packaging. Insert strips for recessed areas in large packages, for sheet liners or separators between products • Electrical and electrical components, controls, etc • Finished products: silverware, jewelery box linings, precious metal shipping container linings, wrapping for precious metals

CorrTainer®
Description: CorrTainer® is a brand of VpCI® corrugated boxes. The inside of the box is coated with Cortec’s Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor and a barrier coating which integrates safe, effective, multi-metal corrosion protection. CorrTainer® is fully recyclable and repulpable. Does not contain nitrites, phosphates, silicates, or banned or restricted substances per RoHS and similar regulations. In many cases, CorrTainer® eliminates the need for secondary packaging, is user friendly, and cost effective.
Application: CorrTainer is most frequently used by customers that are shipping single-use packs of spare parts such as automotive brakes, clutches, or similar equipment. In this situation, CorrTainer eliminates the need for inserting internal packaging such as polyethylene bags or paper wraps.
CorrTainer has proven highly effective at preserving multipacks of small items such as bearings, tools, bolts, and similar items.
CorrTainer also works well in bulk or large dimension boxes when used with VpCI interleaver materials for export and storage of components ranging from rough castings to high-end multi-metal telecommunications equipment. In this type of situation, customers often use VpCI interleaver materials in combination with a box/crate liner from VpCI impregnated plastic. Using CorrTainer eliminates the need for the box/crate liner.
In addition to boxes, CorrTainer is available in cut sheets and bulk sheets for international shipment efficiency or box converting. CorrTainer sheets are also available with coating on both sides.

Desicorr® VpCI® Pouches
Description: Desicorr® VpCI® is a specially designed two sided pouch which contains a unique combination of desiccant and VpCI® (Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor). Desicorr® VpCI® pouches are ideal for protecting packaged ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosion.

Unlike conventional desiccants, the dual function of the Desicorr® VpCI® pouches reduces moisture in the air (desiccant action) and provides multimetal protection (VpCI® action) within a package. In essence, the desiccant action allows the VpCI® to have free access to the surface of the metal, without competition from moisture on the metal surface.

Description: Desicorr® VpCI® is a specially designed, two-sided pouch containing a unique combination of desiccant and Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI®). Desicorr® VpCI® pouches are ideal for protecting packaged ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosion. Eco-Corr® Biodegradable VpCI® Film, Patented
Description: Eco-Corr® is the first and only certified biodegradable corrosion inhibiting film. Eco-Corr® contains Cortec’s proprietary VpCI technology and provides excellent contact, barrier and vapor-phase corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Various formulations containing up to 40% biobased content are available and can be designed to fit required properties ranging from highly elastic to semi-rigid structures.

Eco-Corr® is certified 100% biodegradable and compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute/ United States Composting Council (BPI/USCC) according to ASTM D6400. When placed in a typical commercial composting environment, Eco-Corr® films will fully biodegrade into carbon dioxide and water within a matter of weeks. There is no ecotoxicity to the soil, plants or microorganisms involved in this process. The exact time for films to biodegrade is dependent upon the conditions and activity of the disposal environment (temperature, soil quality, activity of microorganisms). Eco-Corr® films are shelf stable and will not break down prematurely until disposed of in a proper composting environment.


Application: Metal parts packaged in Eco-Corr® receive continuous protection against salt, excessive humidity, condensation, moisture, aggressive industrial atmosphere and dissimilar metal corrosion. The Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors vaporize and then condense on all metal surfaces in the enclosed package. VpCI reaches every area of your part, protecting its exterior as well as hard to reach interior surfaces. You get complete product protection during storage as well as during domestic and overseas shipments, virtually eliminating any rust claims. Once the film is no longer needed, Eco-Corr® can be composted and will degrade into carbon dioxide and water within weeks, certified under BPS guidelines.

Description:
EcoDevice® is a unique biobased VpCI® emitting device constructed from 100% biobased fibers providing an ecofriendly and sustainable option for corrosion protection. These devices are designed to provide corrosion protection for small enclosures such as: tool boxes, control panels, electrical cabinets, instruments and other electronic / electrical enclosures. Each individual EcoDevice® protects up to 42 L (1.5 ft3).

Application:
EcoDevice is simple and easy to install. The devices should be installed as early as possible, preferably during manufacturing or assembly, to avoid the onset of corrosion. Simply select a space within any enclosure where corrosion protection would be beneficial. Verify that the surface on which the device will be installed is clean and free of debris. Peel off the release liner from the back of the device and affix it to the clean surface. For volumes greater than 42 L (1.5 ft3) use more than one device or consult a Cortec representative for product recommendation. Each device will provide corrosion protection up to 2 years from installation; however, if the enclosure is not airtight or if the access doors are opened frequently, replace the EcoDevice more often.

Description: EcoFog VpCI-309 Nano is a Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor VpCI powder in submicron particles. EcoPouch
Description: EcoPouch contains VpCI-609 powder for corrosion protection of ferrous metals and aluminum. The pouches are constructed from breathable Tyvek®, which allows the VpCI molecules to be emitted through the membrane and form a molecular layer on metal surfaces providing corrosion protection.
EcoPouch is easy to use: there are no chemical concentrations to calculate, no need for special equipment for application, just determine the number of pouches required per unit space. EcoPouches are also non-dusting providing a clean method for corrosion protection

Description: VpCI-125 Shrink Static Dissipative Film and Bags are unique in their ability to prevent corrosion and ESD damage. This film combines the latest plastic technology with the most effective corrosion protection for different metals and with the strong static dissipative properties. Cortec® VpCI films and bags replace conventional rust preventatives such as oils and desiccants. You save even more because Cortec® VpCI packaging eliminates all the degreasing or coating removal required in the past. Your product can now be used immediately. VpCI®-125 bags effectively protect components from electrostatic discharge. VpCI-125 conforms to MIL-PRF-81705D (Static Dissipative Packaging Materials). The static dissipative properties of VpCI-125 are humidity independent; its unique composition does not require the presence of moisture to function. Description: Cortec VpCI-148 is a new and improved grease resistant corrosion inhibiting paper. In addition to its excellent corrosion inhibiting properties, VpCI- 148 also provides resistance to greases, oils, and solvents. Unlike wax or polycoated papers, which contribute to environmental problems, VpCI-148 contains a biobased coating and is fully recyclable/ repulpable. VpCI®-149
Description: Cortec® VpCI-149 is a unique corrosion inhibiting paper for the protection of a wide variety of metals. Formulated to provide extra protection to sensitive metals such as copper, aluminum, and cast iron, VpCI-149 is an excellent product for virtually all packaging needs. Manufactured using a neutral natural kraft paper, the coating provides a very soft and conformable feel to the paper. It wraps easily around metal parts, making for easy use during packaging. Since it is not a saturated paper will not tear like many other VCI papers.
Application: Cortec VpCI-149 paper can be used to protect products for storage and shipment in a wide variety of ways: the 149 Kraft wrap for single item packaging or interleaving; end closures for shipping tubes, insert strips for recessed areas in large packages, and as sheet liners or separators between products.

Description: VpCI-352 is a multimetal Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibiting (VpCI) coating designed for flexible packaging and corrugated board applications. Common applications for coated substrates include interleaving and individual parts wrapping. When metal articles are enclosed within, the VpCI® coating on the substrate vaporizes, reaching all metal surfaces to provide complete corrosion protection.
Application: VpCI-352 should be applied directly to the paper or board with traditional paper coating applicators such as rod, blade, or spray.
