Description: 42 lb. natural clay coated release base for aqueous, solvent or solventless systems that will

Description: BioClean 612 is a powerful aliphatic amide based organic
penetrating agent and organic deposit dispersant for use
in industrial applications. BioClean 612 also prevents

micro-biocides, greater control of micro-organisms can

Cooling Tower Frog® Patented |
Description: Cortec's Cooling Tower Frog is a Vapor Corrosion
Inhibitor (VCI) powder packaged in polyvinyl-alcohol
(PVA) water-soluble bags. It is specially developed for
dry lay-up of cooling towers for seasonal, short or
long-term lay-up. Cooling Tower Frog is effective
up to 12 months. This product offers an extremely
efficient method of protecting multimetal in enclosed
spaces. When the bag is cut open, the VCIs vaporize
and adsorb on all metal surfaces - reaching even
recessed areas and interior cavities. The VCIs form a
strong, self-replenishing, protective, molecular layer
on the metal. Designed for ease of application,
Cooling Tower Frog enables an easy start-up.

CorrBlock™ |
Description: CorrBlock is formulated using renewable soybean-based
wax and proven Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI)
technology. When immersed in water CorrBlock slowly
dissolves and releases calculated amount of inhibitors
required for corrosion protection of a system. The inhibitors
in CorrBlock provide multimetal protection including
ferrous metals, galvanized steel, aluminum, and yellow
metals. They can replace chromates, nitrites, and other
types of restricted corrosion inhibitors. The VpCIs form a
strong monomolecular layer on metal surfaces that protect
in all three phases -- liquid, vapor, and the vapor-liquid
interface.
CorrBlock provides water treatment companies with
the ability to conveniently incorporate Cortec® VpCI
technology into their specific applications.
CorrBlock conforms with NACE Standard Practice
RP0487-2000, NACE Standard Test Method
TM0208-2008 and MIL-I-22110C.
DOSAGE RATES
CorrBlock should provide 50 - 100 ppm of inhibitors in a system when immersed. Each CorrBlock weighs approximately 400g and is made to treat 4000 liters of running water. The exact amount of CorrBlock needed for a system should be determined based on water volume, flow rate, water temperature and water chemistry. When a CorrBlock is dissolved a new one can be easily added to the system to provide continued protection.

Application: CorrBlock is suitable for open loop re-circulating cooling systems and waste water systems. The product can be placed in make-up water, cooling tower basin, returned water circuits or waste water systems. In typical use CorrBlock should be replaced every 1-2 months.
CorrBlock is suitable for use in metalworking machines that are water cooled. This helps protect the tool and parts being machined. CorrBlock is generally compatible with coolant, however testing is recommended. |

Nuclear Grade-69 MF Liquid |
Description: Nuclear Grade-69 MF Liquid (Nuclear Grade-69 MF L)
is a Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI) developed
as corrosion prevention additives for the water treatment
industry. This inhibitor provides multimetal protection,
including carbon and stainless steel, aluminum alloys,

Application: Nuclear Grade-69 MF L is an anticorrosion additive for
water treatment formulations to replace chromates, nitrites,

Description: S-14 Bio Powder is a biobased anti-scaling inhibitor for
cooling towers and other open-loop recirculating cooling
systems. S-14 Bio is a water soluble powder. It is non-toxic,
non-hazardous, and readily biodegradable.
In contrast to other commonly used antiscalant products
such as phosphonates and poly acrylates, S-14 Bio Powder
does not attack steel or aluminum. In addition, S-14 Bio
Powder protects galvanized steel.

Description:
VpCI®-645 is a unique, concentrated formulation that protects ferrous an d non-ferrous metals from corrosive solutions containing chlorides. The product is designed to provide corrosion protection in fresh water, salt water, brine, and other highly corrosive solutions containing dissolved halogens.
As a concentrated formulation, VpCI®-645 offers low dosage effectiveness as a treatment for a wide variety of marine and process applications requiring economical corrosion inhibition for fresh and salt water.

VpCI®-649 Liquid: Multimetal Closed Loop Treatment |
Description: VpCI-649 is a unique concentrated liquid formulation that
protects ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosive
solutions. In addition, this product is designed to provide
long-term protection in fresh water and glycol closed loop
systems.
VpCI-649 is effective as a replacement for nitrite,
bromate, and/or chromate-based formulations.
VpCI-649 combines contact and volatile corrosion
inhibitors along with anti-scalants in non-toxic formulation
that does not contain nitrites, phosphates, chromates, or
heavy metals. This product helps solve the problem of
disposal, particularly for large quantities of water.
VpCI-649 is also available in a cold weather version for
the convenience of storage in cold temperatures.
